Tarmac Repairs Cambridge

Tarmac, or Asphalt as it's also commonly known, has been widely used to surface driveways in Cambridge, Ely, Huntingdon, Sawston, Chatteris, Newmarket and surrounding areas.

It is a hard-wearing surface and looks great when new or only a few years old. However, over time the resins that are present in Tarmac when it is new dry out due to weathering, UV light from the sun and vehicular traffic parking or turning on the surface.

Our procedure for repairing and restoring Tarmac and Asphalt to its former appearance is usually as follows:

• Gently but thoroughly pressure wash the surface so it is as clean as possible
• Fill any large cracks with Crack Repair Compound and if holes are present, fill with Cold Repair Tarmac
• Apply Tarmaseal™ Tarmac Restorer to replenish the resins lost in the Tarmac over time

Tarmaseal™ is a far better restoration product than most products on the market, which are basically paint, which will sit on the surface and peel off over time. Tarmaseal™ gives a nice deep black finish on top but also puts the goodness back into the Tarmac.
